Hi! I'm a Hungarian university
student in his mid 20s. I graduated with a BA in Oriental
Languages and Cultures and I'm currently pursuing an MA in Sinology.
For the past few years my research focus has been the governmental
philosophy of the State of Qin 秦 during the Warring States Period.
This slowly shifted towards researching the Han era synthesis of
Legalism and Daoism in the light of the Four Classics of the
Yellow Emperor (Huangdi Sijing 黃帝四經). I wrote my thesis using the
paradigm of hydraulic society as laid out by Karl
Wittfogel in his seminal 1957 study "Oriental Despotism".
But I also have other interests related and unrelated to China and
Asia in general.
